- Mercedes-Benz C-Class: The cheapest way into the badge. The running costs never got that memo.
- Genesis G70: Drives with a 3 Series and costs far less used. Tiny boot, and rear seat space is poor.
- Lexus IS: Built to last and pleasant to drive, with an ancient infotainment system and no boot.
- Audi A4: Unflappable in bad weather and a bit anonymous to drive. Small boot for the class.
